Über: I have taken care of dogs and cats of friends and had my own dogs in the past. As long as the pets are not too large, I will be comfortable taking care of them. I am currently self employed and have plenty of time at home to take care of pets. From Sunday evening until Wednesday afternoon I am alone, the rest of the week with my daughter. There is backyard for quick potty and plenty of parks around for walks. My place is pretty cozy and a good fit for small pets.

Über: Hallo, ich bin Lena und Tiere sind schon immer ein wichtiger Teil meines Lebens. Ich lebe selbst mit drei Katzen zusammen und habe dadurch täglich Erfahrung im Umgang mit unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeiten, Bedürfnissen und Verhaltensweisen. Ich weiß, wie wichtig Geduld, Aufmerksamkeit und eine ruhige Art im Umgang mit Tieren sind. Auch wenn ich bisher keine professionelle Tierbetreuung ausgeübt habe, bringe ich viel praktische Erfahrung durch meine eigenen Tiere mit. Ich kenne die typischen Abläufe im Alltag mit Katzen: Fütterungszeiten einhalten, frisches Wasser bereitstellen, Katzenklos sauber halten, Beschäftigung anbieten und darauf achten, wenn sich das Verhalten eines Tieres verändert. Besonders wichtig ist mir, jedem Tier die Zeit zu geben, die es braucht – gerade bei schüchternen oder ängstlichen Tieren gehe ich ruhig und vorsichtig vor und dränge sie nicht. Ich biete Spaziergänge mit Hunden, Hausbesuche sowie die Betreuung von Katzen und kleinen Haustieren während Ihrer Abwesenheit an. Bei Hausbesuchen kümmere ich mich um Fütterung, Wasser, Reinigung des Katzenklos oder Geheges, Spielen, Kuscheln und natürlich darum, dass Ihr Tier ausreichend Aufmerksamkeit bekommt. Hundespaziergänge dauern je nach Buchung 30 oder 60 Minuten und werden an Alter, Kondition und Bedürfnisse Ihres Hundes angepasst. Während der Betreuung halte ich Sie gerne mit Nachrichten und Fotos auf dem Laufenden, damit Sie wissen, dass es Ihrem Tier gut geht. Sollte mir etwas Ungewöhnliches auffallen, zum Beispiel eine Verhaltensänderung oder dass ein Tier nicht frisst, informiere ich Sie sofort und bespreche gemeinsam mit Ihnen das weitere Vorgehen. Mir ist wichtig, auch in unerwarteten Situationen ruhig, zuverlässig und verantwortungsbewusst zu handeln. Durch meine eigenen drei Katzen kenne ich mich besonders gut mit Katzen aus. Außerdem betreue ich gerne auch große Hunde sowie Kleintiere wie Kaninchen oder Meerschweinchen. Sehr aggressive Hunde kann ich leider nicht betreuen, da ich hier keine ausreichende Erfahrung habe. Da ich selbst drei Katzen habe, biete ich aktuell keine Betreuung anderer Tiere bei mir zu Hause an. Stattdessen komme ich gerne zu Ihnen nach Hause oder gehe mit Ihrem Hund spazieren. Ich bin zuverlässig, pünktlich und behandle jedes Tier so, als wäre es mein eigenes. Mir ist wichtig, dass Sie Ihr Haustier mit einem guten Gefühl in meine Obhut geben können. Ich stehe jeden Tag von 10 bis 23 Uhr zur Verfügung. Pro Tag biete ich je nach Entfernung und Aufwand mehrere Hausbesuche an, damit jedes Tier ausreichend Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit bekommt. Auch bei kurzfristigen Anfragen versuche ich, flexibel zu sein und eine passende Lösung zu finden.

She sent me daily Reports, and photos of my Lulu, which were the Highlight of my Days away from Home. Because then I am sure that my Lulu was well looked after. Über: Katzenbetreuung 🐱 Seit über einem Jahr sammle ich praktische Erfahrung in der Betreuung von Katzen. In dieser Zeit habe ich mich sowohl um ältere Katzen ab 10 Jahren als auch um junge, verspielte Katzen gekümmert. Ich passe mich immer an den Charakter, die Gewohnheiten und die Bedürfnisse jedes Hundes an. So bekommt er genau die Betreuung, die zu ihm passt – in einem sicheren, ruhigen und familiären Umfeld, mit viel Geduld, Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit. 🏡🐶 Ich arbeite die meiste Zeit von zu Hause und kann mich dadurch intensiv und liebevoll um die Hunde kümmern. Spaziergänge sind ein fester Teil meines Tagesablaufs – morgens, mittags und abends. Dazwischen gibt es Spiel- und Kuschelpausen sowie Ruhezeiten, damit jeder Hund genau die Balance bekommt, die er braucht. 🐾 Am Wochenende unternehme ich gerne längere Spaziergänge in den nahegelegenen Parks und Grünanlagen. Jeder Hund wird bei mir individuell betreut – mit viel Geduld, Herz und angepasst an seine persönlichen Gewohnheiten und Bedürfnisse. ❤️🐶 Bei mir sind Hunde echte Familienmitglieder: sie dürfen aufs Sofa, sich ausruhen, spielen und bekommen jede Menge Liebe. 🐾❤️ In unserem großen Innenhof haben sie Platz zum Toben – sicher, grün und perfekt für Spaß und Bewegung. Ich weiß, dass jeder Hund einzigartig ist. Nicht alle spielen gleich viel oder brauchen die gleiche Betreuung. Deshalb passe ich mich vollständig an den Charakter, die Bedürfnisse und die gewohnte Routine jedes Hundes an – damit er sich bei mir wohlfühlt und zu Hause problemlos weitermachen kann.

Über: I grew up with two dogs who were my best friends. They were who I wanted to spend the majority of my time with, and who I trusted the most. My parents allowed me to perform simple care tasks such as feeding and walking them since the age of three. I have always been comfortable around animals and learned how to read their body language quite well. At the age of 12, I participated in 4H with my cavalier king charles spaniel who I was responsible for training and bathing. I have also been a frequent volunteer (2020-2021) at Michigan Animal Rescue League as a dog walker where I was responsible not only for walking dogs, but for providing trust and companionship that would increase their chances of adoption. I began using Rover while completing my masters in Edinburgh. It was such a wonderful experience for me and brought so much joy to my days. Animals truly make my days brighter. For the last 10 years, I have been the owner of a ginger cat named Crookshanks, whom I adore more than anything. Since I have moved to Germany, he sadly does not live with me (he is with my mom) but I miss him dearly and willing to make up for this by giving your pets lots of love and affection! Currently, I am a freelancer who has time in the afternoons, evenings, and potentially weekends. Since I primarily make my own hours, taking potty and play breaks is no problem. I offer a clam, relaxed, and patient presence. I recognize every animal is different and has different needs. It is my goal to get to know your pet personally so I am able to cater to providing the best experience away from your for your pet.

Über: Ich habe selbst Hunde und dadurch schon viel Erfahrung im täglichen Umgang mit ihnen gesammelt. Hunde gehören für mich einfach zum Alltag und ich weiß, wie wichtig es ist, sich zuverlässig und liebevoll um sie zu kümmern. Ich kenne die typischen Aufgaben im Alltag wie Füttern, Gassi gehen, Spielen, Beschäftigung und natürlich ganz viele Kuscheleinheiten. Dabei ist mir wichtig, auf den Charakter und die Bedürfnisse jedes einzelnen Hundes einzugehen, denn jeder Hund ist anders. Auch mit unterschiedlichen Verhaltensweisen und Situationen im Alltag bin ich vertraut. Ich habe viel Geduld und nehme mir die Zeit, die ein Hund braucht, um Vertrauen aufzubauen und sich wohlzufühlen. Besonders gerne gehe ich spazieren und lasse den Hunden dabei auch genug Zeit, ihre Umgebung in Ruhe zu erkunden und zu schnüffeln. Durch meine eigenen Hunde weiß ich außerdem, wie wichtig es für Besitzer ist, jemanden zu finden, dem sie ihr Tier mit einem guten Gefühl anvertrauen können. Genau das möchte ich euch bieten. Montags, mittwochs und freitags bin ich nachmittags bis in den Abend bzw. nachts flexibel und kann mich gerne um eure Tiere kümmern. Am Wochenende bin ich besonders flexibel und eigentlich jederzeit verfügbar. Dadurch kann ich mich auch gut an eure Wünsche und den gewohnten Tagesablauf eures Tieres anpassen. Bei längeren Betreuungen oder besonderen Zeiten können wir uns natürlich vorher gerne individuell absprechen. Mir ist besonders wichtig, dass sich eure Tiere bei mir sicher und wohlfühlen. Ich gehe verantwortungsvoll mit ihnen um und achte darauf, dass sie ihre gewohnten Abläufe möglichst beibehalten können. Auch das Vertrauen der Besitzer ist mir sehr wichtig. Über: I have always been passionate about animal welfare. Throughout my professional career, I have immersed myself in learning as much as I can in regards to Animal Welfare. While my focus has been in dog training, I’ve never been shy about adding to my skills. As such, I’ve apprenticed as a Groomer’s Assistant, completed Canine First Aid and Confirmation courses, and I have even spent time working in Veterinary Clinics. These experiences were fulfilling and allowed me to provide comprehensive information for my human students, therefore bridging the critical gap between training the dog and teaching the human. Most recently in my professional career, I was able to open my own successful dog-training business in the states, collaborating with the families of individuals with disabilities, as well as local Animal Welfare organizations and Rescues to provide critical training for both Service Dogs, and dogs living in pet homes. I focused on tailoring training methods to accommodate diverse needs and frequently developed innovative approaches, all while collaborating with various other Pet Professionals in my area. I'm fairly free in my availabilty, pending time hasn't already been booked by other clients. For drop-ins/walks I start my days at 10AM and, finish at 5PM. I don't take drop-ins/walks on Sundays, but I'm otherwise available the rest of the week. For dogs, I like to spend at least 30-40 minutes a day on decompression walks, just allowing dogs to sniff and enjoy the sensory input they crave. I do NOT do public dog parks or allow greetings for Clients with random animals, and I always carry compressed air-spray in the event an off-leash dog approaches. I'm happy to provide play and light grooming, such as routine brushing and nail trims if applicable and requested. I require at least one Meet & Greet with the owner present before commiting to any sitting requests, as it is imperative to me that the dog is comfortable with me and confident with me entering the home without their owner. For cats, I prefer to let them greet me at their speed while ensuring they have all necessary resources and a clean litterbox. I'm very happy to spend the day with a book and cozy cat at my shoulder or on my lap, but it won't hurt my feelings if the cat is shy and prefers to avoid me. Either way, I'll keep their water filled and their box clean.

Neben dem Studium bin ich sportlich aktiv (z. B. Joggen, Inliner, Eiskunstlauf und Ballett), aber mein Alltag ist gut planbar, sodass ich genügend Zeit für die Betreuung habe. Mir ist es wichtig, dass Tiere nicht nur versorgt werden, sondern auch Aufmerksamkeit, Beschäftigung und Zuwendung bekommen. Ich richte mich gerne nach den gewohnten Abläufen, damit sich dein Tier wohl und sicher fühlt. Bei mir erwartet dein Tier eine ruhige, liebevolle Umgebung mit viel Platz. Ich lebe in einer großen Maisonette-Wohnung (ca. 100 m²), in der ausreichend Raum für Rückzug und Bewegung vorhanden ist. Ein Garten ist vorhanden und wird bald eingezäunt, zusätzlich ist ein Catio (gesicherter Außenbereich für Katzen) in Planung. Durch meine eigenen Tiere und meine Erfahrung weiß ich, wie wichtig Geduld, Struktur und ein sicheres Umfeld sind. Ich gehe individuell auf jedes Tier ein und sorge dafür, dass es sich bei mir geborgen fühlt. 🐾✨
