answered a question Do dog owners normally provide food for their pets or is it expected from a sitter?

I believe the owner should provide the food for their dogs, for multiple reasons. Unless you charge extra for cover food costs, the owner should always provide food for their own pets. Also, you wouldn't want to switch what the dogs eat on them, they could get sick eating a different kind of food, or they may have allergies to certain things. I would contact the owners and let them know to provide you with enough food for their dogs for the duration of their stay.

answered a question Late requests and response time?

If I was awake, I would respond right away, otherwise it does hurt your response time score. I did have a client contact me at 2 am, and I did not see it until the next day. I really wish Rover had an option to set a "quiet time" (I feel like I remember this feature or something similar, maybe it was on DogVacay), where if a client messaged you during this time, it would notify them that you may not respond right away, and when they could expect a response. This way, sitters could sleep at night without being penalized for taking so long to respond. Would work well for sitters who have another job that may not be able to respond while at work.

commented answer Can you not make yourself available to owners of dogs you would rather not sit again??

I agree with the rating of pets, or at least being able to leave notes that other sitters can see. I used to work as a dog bather and we were able to leave notes on dogs and rate them (with colors). It helped when booking the dogs for future appointments. Would love a feature like this added.

asked a question My profile is pending, says to talk to a Rover Premier agent, is this different from the RoverGO screening?

So, when I go to my profile, it sometime shows up that it's pending, and says something along the lines of "to complete the process, call a Rover Premier consultant." Is this different then the call I have scheduled to speak to a RoverGo consultant?
