Late requests and response time?

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering how you all handle requests that come late in the evening? For example, I've had quite a few people send messages after 10:45- 11:00 PM. Do you all respond then, or wait until the morning? I'd prefer to respond in the morning as myself and the pups are usually in bed. However, I know response time distinguishes profiles and since I am new I'm wondering if this would be a bad move.

If I was awake, I would respond right away, otherwise it does hurt your response time score. I did have a client contact me at 2 am, and I did not see it until the next day. I really wish Rover had an option to set a "quiet time" (I feel like I remember this feature or something similar, maybe it was on DogVacay), where if a client messaged you during this time, it would notify them that you may not respond right away, and when they could expect a response. This way, sitters could sleep at night without being penalized for taking so long to respond. Would work well for sitters who have another job that may not be able to respond while at work.
