If you know what breed he is or what mixed breed you can Google what the average size is for that breed. If you saw his parents before getting him their size is a good indicator on what he will grow in to. Also take into consideration that male dogs are bigger than female dogs.

No, you should NOT give Tylenol to your dog. Some ingredients are harmful and even poisonous to dogs! Ask your vet to prescribe your dog a pain reliever or let him rest off his leg.

Hi, this is more of a suggestion to Rover then a question, but if you have had the same problem and have a solution I'd love to hear. I offer Drop-In-Visits and Dog Walking services and I've had clients who need Drop-In-Visits for their pet but only periodic dates instead of long term dates like boarding. I don't suggest periodic drop ins, but some pet parents only need check ins twice a week for their dog while there at work, to play ball, feed etc. or cat parents need some to drop in, top off their cats food and water bowl and change the litter, or someone just needs their garden watered. With dog walking, you can pick each date you want your dog walked, but the drop in visit booking system is like boarding, long term, every day periods. Example: I need my dog walked three days this week from the 1st-7th, you can book the, 1st, 4th & 7th dates. Drop in visits you can't cut out dates in the booking. I don't want my client to have to book each individual date in a separate bookings. For these problems I've had to come up with solutions. One being, cut my rate in half and visit only on the dates asked by the owner and two, just book it as a walking request. Neither are a very good solution or a very professional way to book with new customers. I would just like to address this problem and hope Rover would update and fix this issue. Thank you, ~Mary

Hi, I am looking to grow my dog walking service. There're very few clients contacting me in my service area around my address who need a dog walker. I am hoping to have my service area for walking focused on a near by city, North Bethseda MD, which is about a half hour away. I could have more clients in a smaller area and would only need to travel to that city once a day. The problem is, the only way I think I could offer this city as my service area is if I expand my service area to encompass the surrounding area I'm looking to serve. But, then I would receive inquiries from miles away, defeating the purpose of traveling to that one city, and focusing on that one area. Is there any way I can have my service area for walking outside my address? Also, do you have any suggestions on how to get licensed, bonded and insured? Thank you in advanced for your answers. When I search for myself, I type my zip and I'll show up for boarding. I have shown up for my other services, but lately I'm not. I've been on a waiting list for a few days before but I normally show up shortly after. It doesn't say I'm on a waiting and I've looked on all pages in my area (logged in and logged out). My profile says available and available for this weekend. I only show up for boarding when I search my zip, I don't show up when I search my city or city near me. I haven't had any request for a week because of this. I have a few dogs staying with me at my house this weekend so I'm pretty much booked for sitting and I really need show up for my other services (walking, drop-in-visits). What do I do to fix this? Is it because I've had a few declines? Or is there a problem with rover?
