| answered a question | Can you begin working without a background check, and get one when you earn money? I agree with both previous answers. We are new on Rover but have done pet sitting in the past. We do it because we love it and if you can earn money doing something you love you will be better at it. We had background checks and did not have to pay for them. My understanding is there is a more in depth check that there is a charge for but the basic check is free. Hope this helps you. Good Luck |
