asked a question | WHY can't you Fix it where if a owner sends out multiple reservation request, the duplicate request get automatically cancelled when they pick one? This business of getting a request and then never hearing back from them is frustrating to say the Least! Maybe you don't think our time is valuable, but we happen to think it is. I have other things to do and concentrate on to waste energy on people who have chosen someone else to watch their puppies. I am happy for them, and happy for the other sitter - but I just want to KNOW!!! It should be easy to program to automatically cancel all other booking request once the owner "accepts" the one they want. OR just don't let them send out multi's - simple!!! |

asked a question | Does Rover have a different pay policy for long term reservations? I recently had someone ask us to take two dogs (including a 3 month old puppy) for 82 days. She eventually turned down my cost, which is OK - I referred her to another host we love who charges less than we do. My question is would we have to wait until the entire 82 day booking was complete before we ever got paid? That's a long time to take care of dogs with no money coming in. I understood DV broke the reservation up into smaller reservations so was wondering if Rover does the same. |

commented answer | When filling out the W-9 form, what kind of Independent contractor should I choose? Thank you, but that doesn't really anwser the main question. |
asked a question | When filling out the W-9 form, what kind of Independent contractor should I choose? I'm new to http://Rover.com and have never filled out a W-9 form before. Even after reading http://IRS.gov, I'm not sure how to decide what kind of independent contractor I am. Do I need to apply for a business license just to dog sit when I haven't needed it before? |
