I am currently fostering a dog who is with a charitable rescue. Does http://Rover.com offer any discounts for their boarding?
I'm pretty sure that Rover, on the whole, meaning the company, doesn't have any discounts like that. I would think it would be up to the individual sitters. I recommend you contact the sitters in your area and see if any would be willing to charge a lower rate for a foster dog. Kudos to you for caring for the dog for the rescue!
I concur with Shannon. However, you may want to suggest this idea to Rover, because it's a great one!
As Shannon said, you'd have to check with individual sitters to see if they would be willing to discount their rates for someone in your circumstances. All sitters set their own rates as we're all independent contractors who just list and manage our services on Rover.
However, you might check with sites like Groupon, Living Social, or Amazon Local to see if Rover is currently running a promotion. They sometimes have offers for new Rover users which help defray the cost.
