Does anybody know what the "off peak" seasons are?

The last 3 months of 2015 were very busy, but January is very slow. Is everybody experiencing this? Does Rover have data on monthly business trends?

I don't know if Rover has data - you could ask Rover support. However, my experience has been that September-October is pretty slow (about the time all the schools have started back up) and January-February is a little long. Things pick up by the end of March, when Spring Breaks start, and stay busy throughout the summer.

Carmen has it about right. September is ALWAYS dead, although October is usually pretty busy for me.

I agree with Carmen, though I'm interested to see how the new services affect the seasonal variation. Since daycare, walking, and drop ins went live, I've gained some steady customers and backed off a bit on my boarding services. It'll definitely vary depending on your area and which services you offer, but I can see this year being a lot steadier throughout with the work day type services picking up the slack during the overnight visit lulls.

To be honest, I was fully booked for 2015 and have booking well in to 2016 already. I wasn't excepting to have so many back to back stays. It was a good thing. I just hope I'm just as busy this year too

I would like to know the answer to this too! I do walks and drop-ins, and only do overnights at previous clients' homes, so I would think that my business would slow down over the summer for families that have kids off of school. I think I'd get overnights with clients going on vacation during the summer months.
