Do you allow Rover to charge holiday rate for every day of the stay?

I've noticed that Rover charges the holiday rate for the entire stay if that stay includes the holiday. This is also true even if the stay extends out of what Rover considers the entire holiday (e.g. "Thanksgiving" is November 23rd to November 29th). For example, if the stay is the 18th through 26th, it will charge all 8 nights at the holiday rate.

Do you stick with this method of charging people or do you change the rate so that some night are charged at the regular rate and some are holiday rate? Do you only charge your holiday rate on the holiday itself or for all of what Rover considers holiday days, or for the entire stay that includes a holiday? Thanks!

If they want to book with you, they saw your rate on your profile. No need to discount because you feel slightly uncomfortable. You offer a service that dog owners need and even though it's more than your normal price per night, it's still affordable!

I don't charge the holiday rate for my traveling repeat customers. Their pups come to me even during the slow times. I go in and adjust the rate. I Hope it will still let me do that.

It depends on whether it's a regular (recurring) client or a new client. if it's a repeat customer, I only charge the holiday rate for the day before, the holiday itself, and the day after. If it's a new client, they get the holiday rate for the entire period.

The entire stay is at the holiday rate. Holidays are peak sitting times, with greater demand as well. When a person stays at a hotel during the peak holiday times, the hotel doesn't just charge a higher rate on the holiday itself. The holiday rate applies to any stay during a designated peak period.
