I don't want to frighten potential customers or my repeat customers. I live in a patio home community but sometimes we get strangers driving through. Our terrier mix Jack has a very deep warning bark but if friendly. Has it caused any problems for anyone?
I found a selection of less threatening signs which would be great to alert passerby that dogs are on the property without making it sound like they're a danger.

I don't have a sign posted, but I remember seeing a sign for sale years ago that said something like: Dog In Backyard. It was less about "beware, I have a vicious dog that will go for your jugular", and more like, "please be careful entering and exiting so the dog doesn't escape." I always thought is was a good idea, even though I don't leave dogs in the backyard.
