How many testimonials should we have, and can we delete a testimonial?

Hi, we're brand new here and because we haven't had any clients yet we sent emails to friends and family to testify to our love for and care for dogs. We've asked more than a few but I got to wondering if those might be too much. So, if it is too much then can I delete one or two?

Thanks!

I don't think you can have too many testimonials. Since you don't have a star rating, the more voices you have chiming in to say you're worth a try the better it will look to potential clients. Right now I only see one testimonial on your profile, so you're not in danger of overdoing it yet anyway.

As far as I know, there's no way to delete them. If you needed to, you could contact Customer Support to see if they would, though I would guess that they wouldn't do it under most circumstances since those are like reviews.

Thanks! I appreciate the information. I'm glad I asked.

Like Laura said, Testimonials are just to begin your profile -- very similar to reviews and helpful in gaining your first few clients. Once you begin getting reviews, those testimonials sort of blend away (for lack of a better term) and more or less get dug deeper into your profile than most people will see, unless they skim through ALL of your reviews (which are posted in chronological order).

Testimonials might be something you can contact Rover about deleting, but unless you very much disagree with a negative REVIEW and can prove something fictitious was said, this isn't much that can be done about it except replying in a respectable way.

Ah, they fade in importance, I see. That's great information, thank you very much.
