When pups come to our homes?

It is completely up to each sitter to establish and communicate their standards of business practices. Some sitters are more lenient than others. I’d advocate the dogs are up-to-date on required rabies injection &the core vaccinations, which vary per geographic area, flea, (but Not tick) preventatives, and a regular fecal test (at least annually/6 months for higher risk activity dog) to verify absence of parasites, which are contagious to humans & pets.

I live in Colorado, and the only mandatory vaccine in state of Colorado is the rabies shot, so I do require the dogs to have their rabies shot. I comply with my state rules only.
