Is there a way to add captions to stay photos?
Is there a way to add captions that aren't just "Penny's stay with Jean D. - 08/28/15"?

Absolutely, at least this method works with photos that I upload to my profile. After you upload , you will see when your mouse hovers over a given photo a caption bubble in the lower right-hand corner as well as a delete trashcan in the upper right-hand corner. Since I don't make stay photos public that I've sent to an owner, I don't know whether captioning is possible on those.
There is no captioning available on stay photos. You can send a personal message to the owners when you upload the photos, but when they randomly appear on your profile they will not appear with any description.
