What do I do if after sitting for a client, I reach out asking for a review multiple times and they never respond?

I sat for these 3 senior dogs for a few days in a clients home and throughout the entire stay, she was very responsive and communicating regularly. Then after she got home, I reached out a few times asking if she would mind writing a review. I know how important those are to this business and she never responded to me. She has basically ghosted me. She also sits on Rover, so she knows the importance of the reviews. What do you suggest? Should I just consider it a loss and move on? Thank you!

Ughhh, I don't have any advice for you. I'm experiencing a similar thing. I watched a frenchie this weekend and did such a great job with him. sending photos and videos multiple times a day with updates. the owner was so responsive. I even dropped him off at her place because she had a late flight. I waited 3 days and sent her a message yesterday asking for a review and complete radio silence. it's giving me so much anxiety now!!

It is a bit frustrating. She finally responded and wrote a good review. I hope your does as well. I’ve been doing pet sitting for a really long time, but newer to Rover and reviews are very important to me, especially since I’m starting out.

I had a client totally forget to give me a review in December and finally reviewed a few weeks ago! Sometimes people see the notification to review and totally forget. She even put the tip in when she remembered :)

I’d suggest that some people will write reviews and some people will not. Don’t dwell on it & Continue on...

It happens! I've had tons of clients write glowing reviews, and plenty of people who never gave a review. Some will just give stars, some will give nothing. If youv'e got a big enough clientele, it won't matter eventually :)

This is happening to me too unfortunately. I'm new to Rover so I took on a job I basically ended up paying for because I had to take a cab home at the end of the night, but went in to it hoping it'd be worth it specifically for the review. The client asked me to stay later than the scheduled time and agreed to pay extra for the extension. I mentioned the need for a review at the beginning and end of the stay. She never did. I waited a few days, no response. No tip for the extended stay, or review after all that.
