Housesitting Only?

Is there a way to offer Housesitting only at someone's home?

I'm offering services as I've spent 6 out of 8 months in Northern California (where I grew up) dealing with situations related to my mom's Dementia. While mom is living in a senior community, I don't really want to deal with having animals at the lovely home we're emptying to rent.

I got the idea to offer dog services when my sister's sister-in-law was going to cancel a trip they had planned as she forgot to book dog boarding services. With a lot of experience, I offered to help and watch Chloe.

It's just easier for me to do at someone else's house, in some ways. Or some weeks.

Thoughts?

Yes, you can provide whatever services your wish. You are not required to do boarding. When you sign up, it will ask what services you want to offer.

Thanks so much. I didn't see that I could not offer Boarding. I'll look at that again. Appreciate the input.

If your goal is to gain a considerable amount of house sitting business quickly (while you’re in northern CA), I’d suggest promoting yourself in as many places & ways as possible and not rely on someone seeing your profile on Rover amongst hundreds of others. (Handing our business cards to those you see with pets, distributing though pet friendly businesses that allow it, and social media marketing, etc).

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it. I'll look at those options as well. It's the first time in 8 months of being mostly in Northern California that I can even think of doing anything else.
