What if a 30 minute drop-in lasts longer?

Can you be compensated if a booked 30 min drop-in ends up lasting longer?

Why would it? You control the amount of time you spend. As for additional compensation, it is very difficult to get any after the fact.

If the pet owner is asking you to perform more things than you can do in 30 minutes, they'll need to book for longer. Remember, you have the ability to set a 60-minute rate too.

If they asked you to stay longer but only booked a 30 minute stay, tell them to call Rover directly so they can add the extra visit to the booking.

If you decided to stay longer, no one will compensate you. I sometimes stay longer too, for regular clients, knowing they tip well.

Thanks so much for the feedback! Newbie here :)

When I was new to pet sitting, I used to stay longer for every client, because I was new :) At the end, majority of them didn't acknowledge or didn't care my extra effort and I stopped doing it. When I calculated my extra time for the whole week, it would add up to 2 hours so I stopped doing it.
