Rover needs sitter-to-sitter feedback ASAP?

I've wanted this in the past, especially when I was new (gave me extra confidence the person was legit), but ROVER NEEDS SITTER TO SITTER FEEDBACK. I accepted a last-minute sit as the woman's father died and she had to fly out of town, and did a meet and greet.

The dog is already pretty high maintenance, which was not known when I accepted the sit. Even this morning (I'm going to the sit tonight), she called me for 20 min adding MORE responsibilities that were unlisted - including 6 updates a day about the dog. (For added context: I explained I have no experience with diabetic dogs. She is having a vet tech come in and help with insulin but was telling ME how to tell the experienced VET TECH how to give insulin. The vet tech was at the meet and greet and was fine. Originally, she also wanted me to get there at 3AM, which I wasn’t doing for a variety of reasons.)

Wag has the ability to leave notes which are very helpful.

Numerous Rover sitters have asked Rover to facilitate feedback over many years.

Since you have knowledge of what a competitor Wag does, maybe it’s worth approaching rover directly and sharing what wag does.

I agree, that’s ridiculous that they were expecting you (a sitter) to tell an experienced a vet tech how to administer insulin to their dog. Even if a sitter might send someone numerous updates in a day, the fact that they’re asking for 6 a day for a diabetic dog sounds worrisome and a better match would have been to have a vet tech sitter ( which they would likely have to pay more for and maybe couldn’t find quickly). Wishing you luck

Yeah, I love Rover over Wag but the feedback is nice. I wasn’t sure if we could sign a petition or something because I have asked their CS and haven’t heard back. I also was worried about the 6 updates a day - huge red flags. She only asked for the updates this morning - after our m&g AND a call
