Can't get into apartment. Would you modify booking info?

My client booked 3 drop in visits the weekend of Christmas (Thursday, Saturday & Monday.) I'm supposed to check in with the leasing office & they will let me into the apartment since my client doesn't have a spare key. However, the leasing office is closed today, so I'm not able to get in to check on the cat (even though my client thought he confirmed their hours.) My client says the only option is to come back on Monday since there's no way into the apartment without the leasing staff. Would you modify the booking information & remove this visit or keep it since I went to the apartment, waited 20 minutes to see if he could contact someone, and the leasing hours were supposed to be confirmed?

Would I modify the booking? No way, you showed up and should be paid

Absolutely not! You showed up. It is not your fault that the client's supposed arrangements didn't work and was too lazy to get a spare key made.

While they haven't asked, it is best to be prepared. If they ask for a refund, say you are sorry but you did show up and did everything within your power to perform the service. Remember that most businesses/service companies charge a flat, minimum amount to just show up at your home and then bill on an hourly basis. On top of that, those same companies might add a gas surcharge.
