How to deal with constant growling?
Hi, I was told that the dog I am sitting was “friendly” and “cuddley”. The dog was okay the first 30 minutes then turned very timid. He growls (sometimes with teeth) whenever someone comes within 5 feet, snapped at my housemate. I tried fetch, treats, food, and sitting with him and he just stares and growls at me. I don’t know what to do, any suggestions?
I had a pair of huge dogs that did this, owner thought it was funny "theyre just toddlers" she said. They stayed in crates except to potty for my personal safety, growling is never funny, its a challenge in dog language.
