What should I do - booking requested, but no communication from owner, even after repeatedly contacting them?

I am a new sitter/dog walker. My first request came in and I answered right away. Since then it has been radio silence. I offered a meet and greet two different times - even available over zoom. I asked for information about the pet and when might be a good time to meet both the owner and the dog and I have not heard a thing. The request is still pending, but I feel like I should turn it down. It's making me a little weirded out that they haven't responded AT ALL.

Happens all the time as Rover suggests to clients to send the booking request to multiple sitters/ More than likely you weren't their first choice. Archive the request to clear your calendar

It happens. They are not interested. There's people our there who send out a request to 20 or more people. They don't bother to respond after they book the one they like. Just archive.
