Stopped getting booking requests?

Has anyone else seen a major decline in bookings recently? I went from having several bookings at a time to all of a sudden, NOTHING. I haven't gotten a request in over a week. I find it kind of odd because the holiday season is approaching and I assumed I would have been getting at least some. Anyone else having this issue?

Same. I think something is wrong. I talked to Rover and they said everything is fine. But I'm not buying it. We r not the first to say this.

Yes! Same here. It has been several weeks for me. I too, talked with Rover and they said everything is as it should be. Something does not seem right. What can we do to get it back to how it was? Thank you for posting, Rachel W.

For whatever reason River put me as not accepting new clients. I had to go change that to accepting new clients to get new client requests.

I also have not received any booking requests from Rover for a few weeks. I've been wondering why and how I can change it around. I update my calendar every day.

I get repeat clients but they are far and few in between. I haven't rec'd anything from anyone new. Did anyone else find a resolution? I think I'll have to forego Rover in lieu of the current (or lack of Current) bookings!

With the ups and downs of the pet care business, no one can predict when and where their next booking will come from. A good tip to follow is to message your previous clients to check their holiday plans

Thanks for the suggestion, Walt. How would you word your message to your previous client? I don't want to seem pushy, etc.

Oddly enough, shortly (maybe an hour?) after I messaged several previous clients, I finally got a request! But it was from a previous client that I did not message. Strange.

This happened to me. The Rover site was saying I wasn't available. I found that you have to go in an manually click on your calendar and say you are available to accept clients. After I did that, I got lots of requests.
