What is the best backpack for a dog?
I would like for my dog to carry his own stuff during our trip. At least water, treats and food and such.

I love Outward Hound back packs! I've had the same ones for almost 10yrs, they've been through all kinds of weather and still look like new! The newest one I purchased is now 2 yrs old and is just as good as the originals! They seem to be very comfy on my dogs as well!
Definitely go try a few on at your local pet shop. Every brand and model will fit a little bit differently so it will be most important to find one that fits your dog snugly and comfortably. I've used an REI Adventure Dog pack for two of my dogs with good experiences, and I recently inherited an OllyDog pack that I haven't gotten a chance to try out yet.
