Anybody else finding some people are requesting visits and then doing meet and greets. They then book you and cancel every time and try and get another type of service from you like a business or even romantic partnership?

I have someone who reaches out all the time to do a meet and greet with their dog constantly even though I have met him twice. When they book me for lets say a weekend, they end up cancelling last minute. When I went to meet both owners and the dog they were a bit odd and felt like it was more of a meet me and not the dog. Ended up being they were looking for a "3rd" to join them.

I have a client who I recently canceled repeat weekly services, after the 2nd week started to ask me if he could contact me for services outside of my days, asked me to bars, give me nicknames, wrote a rap for me that I refused, and so on. Keeps asking me to come at night for the dogs when I can’t

That’s Creepy. I would flag their profile and call to report to Rover.

I have not experienced what you described, so I’m hoping that this is not a situation that will repeat for you. The only thing close that sitters regularly experience is people booking and canceling (often it’s a pattern with specific clients, who you may decide you’re not interested in providing services). Cancellations are happening more in the past 2-3 years due to pandemic related issues.
