Should you prioritize new clients or repeat clients?
I have been a sitter on rover for about six months. I have had potential repeat clients reach out to me about the same pet sitting dates as new clients. Which one should I prioritize? For example, right now I have a meet and greet set for a new client, and so far I don’t see any reasons we won’t book, their dog seems very sweet. I have also been asked by a client I have pet sat for before for the same dates, and I love their dog. I have said no to the potential repeat customer before because I already had a pet sitting job for when they asked. I’m worried that if I keep saying that I’m already booked, then they’ll just give up on asking me and move onto someone else, which I don’t want. I don’t know if I should prioritize potential repeat clients or new clients. Any suggestions?
