Master bedroom?

I've been declining house sitting requests that will have the sitters sleep in the master bedroom (and couch, i've seen some nasty ones). Has any of you slept in the master bedroom? How did that go?

Yes, I understand that not all clients are able to have a guest bedroom for me to sleep in.

Of course I will sleep in the master bedroom. For All of my House stays I always bring my own blankets, sheets, and pillows. This makes it easier on the clients and on myself. I also don't mind sleeping on the couch. Sometimes the couches are more comfortable then the beds. And/or other times the dogs are allowed on the couch not the bed so I will sleep on the couch and let the pups sleep with me.

Now you did mention that you have seen some "nasty" couches. If the clients overall house is nasty and I don't feel comfortable, I will decline the job at that point. (When I decline any job, I always make sure to redirect the reason to me not being the right sitter. This leaves less room for owners to be offended or take it personal.

Best of luck!
