How have others handled that a potential client has me requested but will not confirm sit or cancel which keeps from another sit?

Client said would let me know yesterday but still hasn't, even after follow up message from me

Archive the request, using the reason: customer has not responded. That will allow you to get other requests for that date.

You can also send the client a message to the effect that you cannot keep that date open unless it is confirmed through Rover.
