It's a holiday week and the dog is a puppy. How much should I charge? Do I apply both the holiday rate and puppy fee?

A new client reached out to take care of her 5-month-old puppy for 3 weeks for the holidays. Do I apply both puppy rate and holiday rate?

Rover's system will automatically assign the appropriate rate to the booking. If you'd like to know which rate takes precedence (puppy vs holiday), then you should call Rover [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]. I expect it is one or the other, not both.

This client shouldn't need to ask you for the amount. It will show up automatically when they put in the dates and contact you.

While I realize that you are new to Rover and have no reviews, you should ask friends and family for testimonials. Also, I know that Rover advises new sitters to set their rates lower than the going rate for their area, but yours are extremely low and your puppy rate is lower than for an adult dog. Puppy rates are typically higher because they are much more work, which is very likely why this person has contacted you to lock in a very cheap rate for her puppy.
