Drop-in rate converts to overnight stay?

My overnight stays are priced low as it's my preference for sitting. If a client books a drop-in and it's for several hours (but not overnight), clients have been paying for the overnight rate. Does this get automatically converted? For me, dropping in for 3 hours is more of a hassle than staying long term and I would rather charge more per drop-in. Thanks for the advice!
