I AM NOT USING STRIPE?

This is the biggest breach of trust. To strong arm sitters into only one way of receiving payments (stripe) is so wrong. I don't understand why they would go from two great payment options (PayPal and check) to Stripe which forces us to give our social security number and banking information. I will be quitting rover after my current bookings are finished and Rover needs to find another way to pay me because I will not be giving my personal info to Stripe.

Was this even announced? I don't recall getting notified of this change and would not make new bookings if I had known this change was happening. What a terrible business decision to change something that works and make it more difficult for sitters to receive payments. Terrible way to conduct business. Rover was fun until they did this. They clearly don't care about sitters.

FYI, Paypal had your Social Security Number and your bank account info. This is no different.

Then you won't get paid!! Yes it was emailed out months in advance several times. Call Customer Support [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] but odds are nothing will happen
