How can I get paid via check?

I read "If you’ve withdrawn $600 or more via check over the course of a calendar year, Rover will send you a 1099-NEC tax form to the address listed on your W-9 by January 31. Additionally, an electronic copy will be emailed via http://tax1099.com by January 31."

How do I request to be paid via check and how does that work? I want a 1099 Form to come at the end of the year if I earn over $600.
