More than one week?

I specified No to the Details question more than one week but still get request much longer. What’s up?

If you are otherwise the best fit - you sometimes will get requests outside your preferences/area of service. Politely respond to the client, that you don't sit more than 7 days & you hope they find someone. Then under "modify" archive it and choose the best option (unavailable maybe?) 🤓 🐾🤘🏼😎

It sounds like you are referring to the profile question “Are you willing to accept stays longer than one week?”. I’m not sure why that exists because someone viewing your profile does not see that question/answer.

Although you could add some statement of I’m glad to care for your pet for one week or less, many users of the platform will not completely read the profiles and they can still request you. You may need to manually block off days as unavailable on the calendar. It’s my experience that most people who want to board their pets, request more than one week.

Rover likely sent them the option; they can't see that he won't sit longer than a week unless that's a recent update? So the client wouldn't know. If they know the weeks they are unavailable; they should have already blocked those off. My guess is it's a conflict of time mgmt.

If you go to your profile, that’s a question followed with a yes/no answer box. Clients don’t see it and even if they did they can still send a request. This sitter indicated it’s not that they’re not available specific dates, it’s that they prefer stays under 7 days.
