I do not understand the base rate thing?

So how do I charge for just a cat? I do not want to charge someone $20 for a cat if I am already there dog sitting. And I do not want to only get paid $10 to go and take care of a cat. Someone, please help? Thank you in advance

Could you clarify your situation? You can go in and edit. Is the question about house sitting or drop-ins? Or both? Remember, you can always go in and modify the invoice if you have a situation involving both animals.

I know this situation all to well, this happen to me, I had a client, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Well I was only charging 10.00 per day under house sitting. Well, both dogs died. So, she had called me and wanted to do house sitting with just the cat for 5 days. She lived 20minutes from me. I told her that I couldn't do it for 10.00 per day. I would have to charge 38.00 a night. She did not want the service. So long story short, I have put it in my details. EXAMPLE- House sitting with dog care, cat care 7.00 House sitting cat care only 38.00 Drop in- cat care- 38.00

This is good to know actually. We do need to be specific about costs like that because if it causes the owner to get upset thinking it’s not right you could get a bad review! Thank you. Good to know
