Are these scammers or am I overthinking it?

So I'm new to rover and am wondering if these are scammers or not. So far I have had 4 booking requests and in each one, neither the client's profile nor the dog's profile is filled out. There's nothing there save for the pet's name and their breed/weight. Once I try to schedule the meet and greet they stop responding. Now I got another request and when I said let's do a meet and greet she said to call her because it's an "unusual situation". Do I call or just ignore it? Thank you for any advice.

New users of the rover platform often do not fill out all the profile information. Sometimes it’s a legitimate possible client, who may not be comfortable filling everything out in the beginning before they know if they can find a match. Although, it can be a scammer (not pet owner person). That’s why Rover provides the anonymous rover numbers where they can call you without you having to give out your actual number and you can call them on their assigned Rover number shown (Rover#s automatically & anonymously reroutes the call or text message to the person’s phone number). I’d suggest asking for information that matters to you before setting up a meet and greets. Always start a meet and greet outside. Follow your instincts.

Thank you, I appreciate the answer. I don't want to come off as rude asking them to fill out their profile but I also don't want any surprises. I should just not be afraid and ask.

Theo, definitely ask them to fill out their pet's profile. Tell them that you don't want to waste their time if there is anything that would be a problem for you. In my case, if they talk about pee pads, then it's a deal breaker for me.

I’m also new and have been wondering about strangers viewing my house. That said, they’ve all booked the services…..

I think I have gotten 2 “spam” requests today. I’ve been a sitter for 6 mos and never had this happen.
