Why do I have to choose one time for dog walking when we are open to anytime?

We are open to the time for a dog walker, which would make more walkers be interested in the job. From morning until late evening, it doesn't matter to us. But I have to pick one exact time on this site. It says it is flexible an hour before or after but we're flexible a lot more than that. We write that in our description but maybe people count us out based on what hour we randomly pick. Will you please change that? Give a window instead of a specific hour?

Rover Tech and Support, please give credence to this request. The number one problem on this platform is lack of communication. If sitters are independent business owners, then why can’t we have the option to offer flexible timing as a service?

Continuing: Rover Sitters should be consulted (and paid for) their assistance in improving the functionality of the app and site. Unfortunately, adjusting the app based on free information in reviews should not be permissible. Experienced information & insight should be compensated.

Rover walkers are all independent business owners and schedule their own walks. Rover asks for a time so potential walkers can look at their current schedule to see if they can fit you in. You have the option to include a note with your booking request. Best of luck to you.

This is one more example of asking for free labor from walkers. The request is legitimate and causes confusion. There is no compensation for Rover sitters teaching owners how to use the app. This is an easy IT fix. It should happen. It is costing Rover more money to ignore the issue.
