Has anyone else had their profile content plagiarized by another sitter?

I have been on the platform as a sitter for over 2 years. A brand new sitter just came on the platform in my area and she copied most of my profile content into hers. A direct copy/paste. I have contacted support but her profile is still up with my stolen, plagiarized profile content. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, but I consider it a compliment. That means your profile is enticing. Besides, if you’ve been on the app for 2+yrs and she just started, you probably have way more reviews & repeats. So, if a potential client is comparing you both, you’re going to present better. 👍

A number of years ago, I recall someone posted this exact same issue. I think the general consensus was to consider her imitation as a sign of flattery. You already contacted support and could contact them again. Maybe you’d have better luck contacting her directly. I realize that means you need to send her a “ booking request” in order to be able to message. In the message , you can tell her you would like to talk to her about her profile, to open a conversation.
