Will rover ever have a way to price doggie daycare?

I have clients who ask about doggie daycare. I wish there was a way to price it in my services offered. Will that ever be an options for sitters?

I'm no Rover employee, but I've heard from employees that this is in the works. No idea when it will roll out, but recently they did add day care to the filters in the Rover search, so some progress has been made.

I'm facing that with overstays after the 24 hours. Have made up my own rates of $3hr after a 3 hour pickup window. I am only interested in booking a block of days stay so when I get a daystay request I refer them to a doggie daycare business.

This is something sorely lacking with Rover. Hopefully, they will rectify this soon and make it easier for us and our clients to utilize this service. Great question.

I have been wondering this myself. I'm curious to know how other sitters are currently handling these requests, as far as pricing. Most potential clients ask me what my rate would be, as they are assuming it's going to be less than my overnight rate. Do other sitters charge less for daycare, or do you just charge the same rate as overnight?

I charge less for daycare - my nightly rate is $37, but I will offer $20 for a half day (up to 4/5 hours) or $30 for a whole day (up to 8/9 hours). Beyond that it reverts to the full nightly rate. I will also generally take a daycare dog beyond my overnight capacity, do the daycare dog doesn't take an overnight slot.
