Are all sitters licensed or bonded? Some localities require a business license and it depends on the Rover services you offer, so you should check with your local government. And note when you agreed to the Rover TOS you agreed to comply with local requirements.

Bonding only applies if you have employees on staff to cover business liability, most Rover sitters don't have employees.

However, you should have pet sitter liability insurance as the Rover Guarantee does not cover liability coverage if you screw up and get sued by a client. There are 5 primary Pet Sitter liability insurance companies for US-based businesses. All of the insurance carriers are responsive and respected.

Rates start around $130 a year depending on the services you offer and how many people you are covering and your level of deductible.
