Are fees taken out of tips?
Just got my first tip through the app. It was a weird amount so i was wondering if Rover took a percentage of the tip left?

I'm confused on this also. Not a lot of my clients leave a tip through Rover, but ive noticed that each one that has, is the exact same amount as the Rover fees charged. That could just mean that they've selected 20% and it just all matched up, but it was definitely alarming at first. It almost looked like Rover kept my tips as their fees.
No Rover does not take a cut on tips
Rover takes a huge percentage of our earned wages. I have been tipped several times on the app and Rover takes 20% or higher of our tips. I do not have a problem with the percentage taken from our earned wages as that was the agreement. However, I have a huge problem with ANY percentage that was taken out of our tips which were earned by one’s own performance nothing to do with Rover at all.
No, Rover does not take a percentage of our tips. The weird amount is because the owners are given a choice of percentages of the entire booking to tip (10%, 20%, or 30%, I believe), not a straight dollar amount.
They do so! A big percent. I got a $13 tip and only paid $10 of it. Not only do they take fees out of our pay but they charge the clients a percent more than the booking rate. If I do a $200 booking Rover gets $60.
