Can Rover add a tips option?
I had a family ask me if they can give tips through the app, and I said unfortunately not. Is this a feature that can be added?

The sitter community has been asking Rover for a tip option for many years and it has fallen mostly on deaf ears. For a time tips were possible for on-demand walks, but that disappeared.

It has been nearly 3 years since Rover surveyed via this pop up. My guess is that there was zero interest in sharing a portion of the tip. Therefore,, there's no motivation for them to easily implement this feature. No additional revenue for them? Why bother? Rover doesn't do anything to benefit sitters, only itself.
You should mention to those clients who wanted to tip you that cash or Venmo/Zelle would be greatly appreciated.
