I just became a dog walker on Rover and wanted to know some tips and tricks on how to get noticed and build clients.
Make sure your profile is filled out as thoroughly as possible. Try to have some pictures that showcase your personality with dogs. If you like to hike with dogs- show a picture of you hiking with a dog. If you like to hit the beach with them- same thing. I have Pluto cartoons on demand and we have pictures of dogs watching Pluto cartoons- i get LOTS of positive compliments on those! Too- make a little doggie bag (ziplock bag with a treat or two inside). Go to your local dog parks at peak times and hand out these treat bags to pet parents and let them know you are a walker on River and would love to get their business.
