This person left me a 1 star review- because I asked to reschedule our MEET & GREET?
I have had a 5 start rating on ROVER for the past 4 years, several repeat clients who are always happy with my services. I had a potential client message me a few days ago asking if we could schedule a meeting to see if I would be a good fit for his dog and services that were needed (house sitting). This potential client asked that I come over 2-3 times a week until a 7 day long vacation in August. He wanted me to get to know him and his dog so we were all comfortable and familiar with each other. So after our initial conversation we scheduled a meet & greet for today in the evening. I am very good and diligent about keeping track of my schedule but it completely slipped my mind that my spouse and I had dinner plans with her Mom. So I messaged the potential client first thing in the morning (12 hours before meet and greet) kindly explaining something had come up and I would love to reschedule if possible.. He then replied with a not so polite or understanding message saying that he would no longer be in need of my services. Which I replied to saying I completely understand best of luck have a great day. HE THEN LEFT ME A ONE START REVIEW ON MY PROFILE! I have never met this person, I had never provided him and his dog any sort of service. I am super upset... as I am very passionate about my ROVER business and account. I contacted customer support asking them if there was any way they could remove this review as I had never met this man or provided him any service. :( Fingers crossed they are able to help me out. But I am just mind blown!
