Can you block a client?
Is there a option to block a client?
Is there a option to block a client?
I've never seen one.
I WISH! Sadly no. Best you can do is flag if suspicious spam. But there's no action for clients that harassing.
If it doesn't smell right, then it ish by.. especially with blank profiles, contact Rover directly they typically remove the culprits.. so many fake booking requests, mostly after I verify and refresh my calendar.. it never ever fails.
I would just deny the request. According to past clients of mine, it doesn't let them know that we've archived their request.
I think rover should have an option to block a client. There are dogs out there that are definitely risks to both the sitter and other dogs and I think I should have the right to be able to block a client
I would like this option because of clients, not the dogs. Clients don't always follow directions I give them. Simple things like outsideets only and then they try to force themselves in the door when I answer. Disrespectful humans are the worst.
I have so many trolls I want to block.. Rover really needs to find a way., please Rover???
I came here to ask the same thing. I just got a request at 10pm for a booking starting today and they wanted to drop off at 11pm. I replied to say I can watch their dog but drop off would have to be tomorrow. The person them sent me several messages as to why they needed to drop off tonight. I archived the request but it has left me a little uneasy with how demanding they were. It appears to be a new profile so I was wondering if I could just hide my profile from them. It was strange.
Unfortunately, you can't. But you did the right thing in refusing to have their dog dropped off at such a ridiculous hour. They sound like nothing but trouble.

I’m new to dog sitting on Rover but have used it a lot for finding sitters for my dog. My first three requests have been from blank profiles asking for services within 1 day. I reported one to Rover and they said it looked fine.
It’s starting to get frustrating and I’m concerned that my score is going to be tanked from the start. It would be great (absolutely necessary ) if rover would require some basic info before allowing a request.
I am having this issue also - they make a big booking and suddenly cancel them the profile goes inactive...
Me too! grrrrrrr!!! Just had a client who canceled 2 dogs coming for a week. (They were supposed to arrive in 2 days. No notice, when she clearly new in advance that she would not be traveling. I turned every request from other dogs so i could take highly specified care of her dogs. HELP!!
