Why does Rover automatically sets me to "unavaliable" after accepting a stay request?

Anytime I accept a stay request, my calendar automatically changes to "unavailable" where other clients can't book me for those same days. I only do travel sitting, so I am able to accept more than one dog at a time. I can go through and manually change my calendar back to "available" but is there a setting somewhere that I can set to not change my availability status unless I manually do it myself?

I'm not sure how it works with traveling sitters, but as an in-home sitter I can set the number of dogs I can host at one time. Rover won't show me as unavailable until I have hit that limit. Does that setting exist for traveling sitters?

It's under "Profile", "Dog Hosting Profile", then "Basic Profile" toward the bottom.

Good luck!

You can go into your calendar and set the number of available slots you have for each day ahead of time so that when you book a stay it will only remove one of the slots. Or continue doing what you have been, and change it back to available after you have booked.

You can also go to each date on the calendar where you've booked and manually change the number of dogs you're available to watch it you think you can handle more.

I seem to recall there being a checkbox on the page where you accept the stay indicating whether you want Rover to mark your calendar as unavailable. I don't remember exactly where it is but it's right before or after you accept the booking.
