Holding spots pending meet & greet?

I'm curious how everyone handles overlapping date requests when a meet & greet is pending? If the owner is waiting for meet & greet to confirm booking, do you hold their spot when receiving other requests or do you do "first come, first serve"? How do you nicely let them know?

Unless they're a really good, repeat customer, you should NOT hold a date open, especially during a peak holiday period. Encourage your client to have the M&G as soon as possible in order to make a decision. Tell the client that your policy is not to reserve spaces unless they are prepaid. If they're hesitant, then, tell them you will give them the courtesy of a notification if someone else has asked for the same dates. And, yes, it should be "first come, first served." You know what they say about "a bird in the hand..."
