Is there a way to temporarily deactivate my sitter profile?

Is there a way to go inactive/put my account in 'hibernation mode' for two months?

I will be moving to London soon and so want to ensure I am no longer appearing in search results for New York clients and want to get settled in London before I start taking requests there. Don't want to fully deactivate my account and have to make a new one thus losing my reviews etc.

(I have marked myself as unavailable on my calendar but I'm still getting requests.)

Adjust your services to away mode is your best bet. I'd also be checking with the UK to be sure you are allowed to work there, most countries won't allow you to work without a work visa and that includes accepting bookings on Rover. Hope things work out for you.

Thanks for the advice! I'll look into Away mode. Thankfully I'm a UK citizen so that won't be a problem.

Cool and best of luck

Have you tried "Away" mode? This is done through your Dashboard, under Services Offered.

Also, when I look at your calendar, it does not show you are unavailable for 2 months. I see green. There's only a 4w-week stretch in August that is greyed out. Also, I believe repeat customers can always contact you regardless of your booking status.

Anything other than Away mode would require Rover staff to do.
