Service Area Recommendation?

What do most sitters set their service area miles to? I was thinking of making it smaller, but will that limit my option to get new customers?

Service area is always a slippery slope! Set it too large and it actually keeps you out of searches in your local area especially if there are a lot of sitters in your area. So where you live also has a lot to do with it, if you are rural a bigger area is needed, city/suburban not too large. When I started 5 years ago I set it at 10 miles and got lots of clients but spent way too much time driving each day, so I lowered it to 5 and cut my drives in half and I'm busy with walks every day, well at least before the pandemic. Tough finding clients right now so I wish you lots of luck going forward.

Thank you so much!

This was helpful to me as well, however, I cannot find where to add this specific setting (mileage).
