How do I remove a request?

Someone requested to book specific dates solely to ask me a question, and explained that she didn't actually want to book the dates, just wanted some information. How do I remove that so it doens't look like I refused a booking?

You cannot "remove" bookings and unfortunately Rover requires a booking to even contact a sitter. The only thing you can do is to Archive it. I usually select "Owner's Plans Changed" as the reason as Rover does not offer a "The Owner didn't have a real booking and Rover is too limited to let someone contact me without requesting a booking" LOL. We all have this happen and Rover will not look at it as you "refused" a request. :) Good luck!

Change date to today's date. After 3 days it'll drop off your calendar. You won't need to archive and it won't count against you either

I would archive the request; honestly it doesn't matter what reason you choose as it has zero impact on you as a sitter

FYI when you archive it does count against you

Sorry but performance scores mean nothing, it doesn't impact where you show up in searches or in acquiring new clients, they are just a measure for you to see how you do against other sitters and only the last 10 requests are measured
