If I change my location for a short time period (out of state), will I lose my jobs for the current area?

If they are already booked, then I wouldn't think the system would cancel them out. However, once you change locations, no one from your regular area will be able to book you for jobs (unless they're a repeat client) in advance for dates when you return. You will only show up in results for one location at a time.

Of course, you could check with Rover Customer Support to verify, although I can't imagine that would happen.

You are safe with your current bookings but as Karen said you won't show up in local searches once you change your address. Lot of sitters do it all the time so best of luck
