What to do when a New Client Keeps Changing Service Dates, Service and wants 1.5 hour visits?

Hi there,

This is the first time I've experienced this and I am suspect it will continue with this new client. When I received the booking request we scheduled a meet and greet, which she rescheduled three times. Before we met she also rescheduled the date of services. After we finally meet (which was a three hour meet & greet, she basically turned me into her therapist!) the next day she yet again changed the date of services, pushing the drop-in visits out another two weeks. Additionally, she is all over the place with the requested services. The original request was for two 30-minute visits a day, now she is inquiring about three visits per day, each being 1.5 hours. I briefly mentioned my hourly rate (I've yet to land on an 1.5 hourly rate, advice?) and I do not think she was too thrilled. It is important for me to mention that she has 5 DOGS. I'm very torn as to how to handle her constant date changes and how to land on an appropriate rate for such extensive visits. Obviously, spending nearly 5 hours a day there over the course of 3-4 days (plus commuting time) limits my availability for other clients. She also wants me to come back twice before the service dates for additional time to get to know her dogs - I assume these will also be about hour long visits.... What do I charge here?

I know this is a lot of context, but I would appreciate any advice regarding how to handle her constant scheduling changes and appropriate pricing for her requests. I cannot give away my time for free, but I also am hesitant to decline the business as it has the potential to be a sizable client.

Thank you in advance for any guidance!
