The Facebook Rover group is very active having more than 5000 members and 20+ posts per day. As we have discussed on several occasions we know this forum has gone pretty much dead and HQ doesn't really support it any longer.

But my feelings on the event is its just another "smoke and mirrors" to make us feel like Rover cares and is willing to listen to our needs and then take action. After having several one on one discussions with HQ over the past 4 years asking for feedback and needed upgrades that have gone nowhere I feel this is just another dead end.

I'll probably attend or watch it post-event, but ----- I'm not holding my breath anything will change!!! But hey it was great they added pee and poop icons to the App.

Have a good weekend.

My point was "we hear you", really indicates that they don't. Since Rover's About Us page boasts 200,000+ sitters, clearly not every sitter/walker chooses to spend time on FB. Have a nice one.

I don't think it's so much a 'Rover' thing, as it is a 'social media' thing. Rover is just one of many businesses that have jumped on the FB bandwagon, because that's where "everybody" is. Forums like this get forgotten by all but people of an older generation :) My 56 yr old hubby is still calling FB a "fad" LOL.
